On this random day in January 2024 I found my old blog about Ironworking in 2011. I do feel like updating and creating a space to learn welding online but I am not sure that a blog is the way to go. The apprenticeship and 9 years of ironworking turned out very differently than I imagined and I am now in school getting an MFA in sculpture at RISD. I doubt I will move back to the city after this but I miss some parts of outdoor construction life. I am teaching welding and sculpture this month and graduating in June. This might be a place for information after that...
